Hello! I am Samantha Elize S. Bruño, a fourth-year college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I love spending time with kids, and to see them learn through me is such a heartwarming experience. I am also a fur mom of six cats: Thanos, Winter, Coffee, Loki, Goose, and Cinnamon. Dressing up, taking lots of good pictures, playing the guitar, and singing are my favorite hobbies. It has always been a dream of mine to become a teacher since elementary school, and to think that I am pursuing my childhood dream is already an accomplishment.

My journey as a SEA Teacher deployed at Khon Kaen, Thailand, has been a transformational experience for me. Imagine embarking on a journey from the Philippines to Thailand, where you not only get to observe and teach in a different classroom but also get to explore the wonders of a new country with newfound friends. I want this to serve as a beacon for aspiring exchange students, offering information about the school, the teaching assignments, and the overall experience of living abroad. Beyond the academic aspect, I also want to highlight my exploration of Thailand, showcasing the beauty of the country and the friendships forged along the way. From visiting cultural landmarks to sampling local cuisine, my journey is a testament to the transformative power of cultural immersion. In a world that is becoming increasingly interconnected, initiatives like the Pre-Service Southeast Asia Student Teacher Exchange Program play a vital role in fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
